Biography
Dr. Scott D. Vandervelde holds a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa (Accounting), and a BA from Hope College (Accounting). He joined the faculty in the fall of 2002 after spending one year as a visiting instructor at Georgia State University. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate auditing. Dr. Vandervelde's primary research interests are judgment and decision making as it relates to auditing. Recent projects have been published in Contemporary Accounting Research. Prior to returning to academia, Dr. Vandervelde spent three years as an auditor for Arthur Andersen. Education
