Michael Messersmith
Assistant Director

Michael Messersmith became Assistant Director of the Center for Business Communication in fall 2005 after serving as Senior Consultant in 2004-2005.  He is a second-year Master of Human Resources student at the Moore School, holds a BA in English from Millersville University in Millersville, Pennsylvania, and is finishing his Master of Arts in Linguistics from the University of South Carolina. While working for a manufacturing company in York, Pennsylvania, Michael was a union officer for the United Auto Workers local, serving as a liaison between management and employees; he also held the office of Financial Secretary until his move to Columbia. Michael has returned to the CBC this year after a summer internship with ExxonMobil in Beaumont, TX.
