These panel events for graduate students are held over lunch, signed to provide interested students an overview of various business career paths, and how those careers may differ by industry. Each panel consists of 4-5 employer representatives who have experience and/or expertise in specific functional areas. Ideally, various industries are represented. Lunch and learn events occur at 12:45 p.m. on the dates listed below and last for one hour. These events provide employers an excellent opportunity to meet students in a casual environment, while presenting information about their organizations.

The Moore Networking Reception is a true teaching event, preceded by a series of seminars where graduate students learn various networking techniques. The Reception,
scheduled for Thursday, September 25, 2008, provides a venue for students to practice what they have learned. Employer participants serve as networking targets, and are asked to provide general feedback to students at the conclusion of the event. This setting is ideal for employers to get to know Moore graduate students ou tside of the formal interview process.
The Moore Etiquette Luncheon, scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2008, allows employers to gain exposure to Moore graduate students in a business lunch setting. As with the Moore Networking Reception, the Etiquette Luncheon provides an opportunity to interact with Moore students outside of the formal interview process. In addition to formal dining etiquette training, employers are asked to mock interview the students seated with them during the meal, similar to a second round interviewing event. A time for direct feedback is provided at the conclusion of the event.
Please contact Georgia Doran, Director of Career Education, if you are interested in participating in these events.
