Information for Employers:

If you would like for the Marketing Department to make information available to marketing students about a full-time job, part-time job or internship opportunity, please prepare an advertisement (Microsoft Word format) as you would for any employment opportunity and send it to Courtney Worsham, Internship Director, courtney.worsham@moore.sc.edu) as an attachment.  This announcement will be forwarded to faculty and made available to students on the Marketing Web page.

Your job/internship announcement, on company letterhead if possible, should include the following, as applicable:

• Company Name
• Address
• Contact person (Email address and/or Phone number)
• Brief company bio and/or web link to your company's Web page
• Minimum school standing (junior, senior or graduate student, etc.)
• Skills required (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
• Job description
• Hours per week
• Work schedule
• Salary range
• Preferred method of response for applicants (e-mail, Web site, etc.)

USC Career Center Information

The USC Career Center offers employers the opportunity to advertise part-time, full-time, internship and co-op positions to students and alumni, participate in job fairs, and meet and screen candidates on campus to refine their applicant pools.  Employers may also utilize the Career Center's resume referral service.

Key Career Center contacts who can assist you with these services include:

• Alice Jones, Recruiting Coordinator (ajones@gwm.sc.edu or (803) 777-7560).  Contact Alice to schedule "on-campus" interviews with students.
• Allison Sturdivant, Administrative Assistant for Employer Relations (sturdia@gwm.sc.edu or (803) 777-5060).  Contact Allison to post internships, part-time and full-time jobs.  Job and internship postings may be submitted online through USC's JobMate system.  Go to www.sc.edu/career and click on "Employer" under the JobMate logo.
• Melissa Hurst, Assistant Director of Employer Relations (mhurst@gwm.sc.edu or (803) 777-3969).  Contact Melissa for Job Fair information and other employer relations.  Job Fairs offered annually include Career Fair Blitz in September and CareerFest in February.
