November: Women executives from Sysco Foods, Gulfstream, Eaton Corporation
and the CIA are scheduled to serve as this year's panelists at the second annual MAGW Women's
Panel. All female Moore School of Business faculty, staff and students (at the graduate level or
above) are invited to attend this year's panel. The topic under discussion will be 'The Importance
of Networking as Women Grow in their Careers' with opening remarks by Dean Hildy Teegan. There is a
reception immediately following the panel in the Faculty Lounge.
The leadership team was determined to make t-shirts for the group this semester and I am pleased to report the shirts will be ready in mid-November for distribution to our members.
December: MAGW will have its final event of the semester. This event is a special event for members to celebrate the end of a successful semester and take a break from studying for final exams. The Sunday Mimosa Brunch will be held at Liberty Tap Room & Grill. Sorry, this is a members-only event.
