Graduate Assistantships


Graduate assistantship awards from the Moore School of Business are provided on a competitive basis to students with outstanding credentials.  All students are expected to hold a research and/or teaching assistanship their first four years of study.  The minimum stipend for incoming 2009-10 doctoral students is $18,000.  Some departments may offer a slightly higher stipend.  Students should check with the individual departments for the exact amounts offered. 

Stipends are guaranteed for four years contingent upon satisfactory academic progress.  Students receive 85% of the stipend during the academic year and 15% is earned during the summer.  In addition to the stipend, students will receive a 100% tuition supplement the first four years of their program of study. 

To be considered for an assistantship, all application materials must be received by the January 15 application deadline.

All students receiving a Teaching Assistantship or Research Assistantship are required to attend a workshop prior to beginning their assistantship.
