This program, fully accredited by the American Library Association, offers high-quality professional education, research and internship opportunities, and interaction with emerging technology to enhance library and information services. What You’ll Study

You will take a core of six classes on basic library and information science principles, fulfill a technology competency requirement and select at least six more courses tailored to your interests. You'll also build an electronic portfolio including a resume, vision statement and work samples that highlight your expertise.
